BRIGHTNESS SETTING ON A LA2

Hi chaps, I’ve recently bought myself a vaio LA2 and think the machine is brilliant however I ‘m having a little problem. Each time I turn the machine on the brightness setting is set on maximum brightness, I then using the FN keys reduce this. However each time I restart the computer it goes back onto full brightness. On my old V3S it would always remember the previous setting, was just wondering if this is possible on this machine.

Hi Ed,

welcome to Club Vaio..

Right click on the battery icon in the notification area(bottom right corner)and select power options..

In the New window select 'change plan settings' under the power plan you're currently using, then adjust the display brightness level to the level you wish, then click save settings..

Thanks ever so much for such a prompt repy. I dont actually have a laptop its one of these all in one multimedia stations, hence not having the battery icon. Is there any other way i can access this setting.
