ATI IGP 345M Drivers

Have had the PCG-FR315B for a while now and have not updated the SLOW ATI Drivers for the IGM345m. Who knows where I can get the latest drivers as ive already tried ATI and cant seem to find anything relevant.

Please help this poor laptop go faster:smileygrin:

Sony probably won't have updated drivers for this... the IGP drivers supplied work fine for my K115b (BTW I have the same graphics processor as you).

Omega Drivers may have faster drivers but these drivers as far as I know are NOT officially endorsed by ATi so they are at your own risk...

I've got a ati IGP 345M too!!

There's no way to update thoose ancient drivers??? 😉

I've tryed once omega drivers but I had to format and reinstall win....

any suggestions???

Yeah Omega drivers can do some nasty things to the odd few........aside from that there really is very little to suggest I'm afraid, updating graphics drivers isn't Sonys strong point.
There are other opitmisations you can try, but how they would compare to newer drivers I haven't got a clue. What have you tried so far?

I've only tried with an old version of omega drivers....I'm scared to try with newer one because I don't want to format my notebook again! 😉

Any suggestions??? some secret tweaks?? 🙂
