Almost Complete.

After spending quite a while fighting with drivers etc to get my laptop running XP Pro, i have hit a wall. laptop is FE41S, i have used combination of XP drivers of FE31 series as well as the original vista ones.

- Only thing havent got working is the scrolling touchpad

- The camera

- And a little one, but would be nice, id like the MS Pro icon in my computer instead of the "unrecognised" thing icon

Anyone shed any light on the above, the camera shows up in my computer as USB video device, but doesnt seem to work

Its ben quite a fiht, but im seeing light at the end of the tunnel

Download Msicon.zip (attached below), once downloaded extract the files place the snymsico.dll file into C:\Windows.

Finally double click on the both of the two .reg files.

This should install the MS icon, unfortunately it's not the same as the Vista icon..

Thanks, but it still gives the same icon i already had lol gues its just the xp memory stick and aint as eye catchiung as the vista one, oh well better than nowt i suppose.

Got everything working, now only problem is the occasional reboot, seemingly when computer is left for a little while it reboots, is this something to do with the power options, as in turn off the screen/HDD etc as doesnt seem to be anything in the error log.

Did once get a blue screen for a microsecond so couldnt catch it.

Any ideas?
