I have a KDL-32W654A TV and the TV Sideview app on 2 iPad Mini Retinas.
Setting up the app is seemless, so easy to do! Yet every time I use the remote within the app the connection to the iPad stops after and I get an error 'Unable to connect to <name of TV>'. Rather annoying when using the SmartTV functions like YouTube or Netflix! I have to go back to the app and reselect the remote and it connects.
The TV is connected via Ethernet cable and the iPad is on the wifi.
I've read a couple of posts on here where people had similar-ish problems and someone replied with 'deleting rerender' in the TV Network settings and uninstalling, reinstalling and reconnecting the devices. Still the same result. The remote stays connected for a short time and then I have to reselect the remote in the app to use it!
Has anyone else experienced this or been able to workout how to fix it?
Also the TV's firmware is up to date as of Jan 2014.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
