Sony KDL-52V4000 Freeview?

Hello,

I have just purchased the above TV. I cannot locate any channels through a normal UK terrestrial aerial. Does this TV have a built in Freeview tuner, or will I need a set top box to work with it?

The previous tenant had Sky, so I am not sure if my problem is the aerial or the TV.

Hi,

if the previous tenant had Sky its more than likely the freeview aeriel is either non existant or not up to the job for Digital television, you will need to locate where the aeriel is which will be on the roof or in the loft, i would suspect it will need replacing with a Digital one to get the best from it.

your tv does have a digital terrestrial tuner so a set top is not nessessary.
