Xperia V : Flying mode and Wifi

On my Xperia V, I have the Sony Widget for fast managing WiFi, Data, Flying Mode, GPS ....

Point 1 :

When I select the Flying Mode:

The Wifi is automatically disabled : OK

But the Data is not automatically disabled : Is it the expected behavior ?

Point 2 :

When I am under Flying Mode : I can switch on wifi : OK

But when I search a wifi network I see nothing (when I'm not in flying mode I can see many wifi networks)

Is it the expected behavior ? Did you experience that with your phone ?

data doesn't necessary to be automatically disabled because in flight mode there are no mobile transmission , and while being in flight mode the wifi works without any problems i have a screenshots if you wish to see...

As Omar21 says, there's no need to disable data as that will not work anyway when mobile network is disabled.

Regarding your second question, that has to do with what channel the wireless network is using. In flight mode you will only see wireless networks on channel 1-11.

Thank you Omar21 and Rickard. Indeed, my Wifi channel is 12, so it should exlain why I can't see it.

For the data that is not disabled : I'm agree with you on the fact that when we are in Flying mode there is no mobile transmission. That's why I was expecting the data icon switching to "off" : For me it's not consistent to let Data to "on" when it's impossible to use it, isn't it ?
