Xperia S Freezing

Can some please give some advice - ive had my Xperia S about 2 months and it keeps freezing -

i would normlly try taking out the battery but as this model does not have one im stuck!!!

Press and hold power button and voulme up button at the same time

5 second > restart phone

10 seconds > shutdown phone
