Xperia Neo V "clear cache and clear data" problem

Hi

I was trying to clear unnecessary data from my Neo V, and by mistake i cleared 'data' along with cache in manage applications for 'Settings' itself! something immediately went wrong, as all my accounts were deleted (which was not a problem as i added them back) but the issue is that I am nt being able to apply any wallpapers and themes on my phone now. Only Live wallpapers are working, rest I am nt able to change any backgrounds on the phone by replacing with a pic or any other theme wallpapers.

Is there someone who could help me with this? or suggest a solution?

I wanted to try before taking my phone to sony service centre...

have you tried switching off the phone and then checking.?

Yes I did.. that did not help..though thanx Slimshaddy...

I just now recieved an update from Sony Ericsson. I installed it. It took good 10-15 mins and my phone was i guess reset. Surprisingly it got absolutely ok!!! :smileygrin:

hmm i was going to recommend updating only

well updating restores all files so it restored yours as well

mark yourself as correct so that any other user facing the same issue can get help..
