Xperia mini pro - Update to 2.3 for "India"

Hi,

I have been preserving my Xperia mini pro for update but the update is released for many countries and not for India. Is there any hope my phone too will get it? or is there a manual method of updating with SE custom Android 2.3. I dont want to do it with Cynogen as there is issue with camera.:smileyconfused:

Update for india is already released, the latest update is 2.3.4 build no - 4.0.2.A.0.58,

Use pc companion to update ur mini pro or try Update Service...

Update Service (SEUS)

Make sure you backup everything.

SMS/MMS

if you don't want to use the backup & restore app then

Install "backup SMS" to back up your SMS and MMS to your Gmail

also with Update Service

remove both the SIM card and SD card and then try to update your phone

Or if u don't have a pc goto nearby sony service centre and get the cell phone updated.

yours is x10 mini pro which is not upgradable to 2.3 you will not get the update because sony doesnt have plans of doing so..

When u run the update service software, it will show u all sony ericsson phones, select the phone model that u have and then further it will show u the further instructions how u connect ur phone.

By looking at the above picture that u have attached it seems that u must have selected Xperia x10mini not xperia mini pro sk17i.....

If it seems that ur not able to update ur phone with the update service software, download " pc companion " here is the link.

Its the most easy way to update ur phone. Once u install " pc companion "on ur pc, connect ur phone and it will guide u with the further instructions.

Kindly let me know if any other way is there to update to 2.35 with proper 5M camera function.... or can we try to install the 2.3 for SK17 on U20 is there a way?? --- no need of gurantee..... just a way!!!!!

Cyanogen is having some problem with cam.....

Any one who have tried other options?????
