Xperia Mini Pro Flex Problem

Hi Guys,

I'm having problems now with my phone and I guess it's not a software issue anymore cause I tried fixing it with PC companion but no sucess.

My battery got totally drained last night and when I checked it the next morning my phone touchscreen has been acting up.

I slide it up and it's seems working normal, but when I slide it down and turn on the screen, it just froze.. not responding. I even tried calling it/sending SMS but it doesn't show anything.. just black (but the buttons' light are on).

So I would like to know, How will you determine if your Flex got messed up? I do not use QWERTY keyboard more often so I do not know if this is the cause.

Thanks a lot for the help! Winking_Face

As the problem is presenting itself during the sliding process it is likely to be the flex but it is almost impossible to be certain without an assessment.

Hi Sam,

Thank you so much for your response. I guess I have no choice but to bring it to the nearest authorized service centers.  Do you know how long it will take perhaps?.

Unfortunately not, this will vary and you would be best to ask the repair agent themselves as they may have a better idea.

Hi Sam,

I just got my phone from the service center and yes, the problem was the front panel and the flex. It only took few hours for them to fix it. I thought it's gonna be a week or so. Dizzy_Face

Good thing it still covered by the warranty so I do not need to pay anything.

Thanks for the advice anyway.
