xperia j getting very hot

Hi guys i am new here and have a possible issue with my xperia j

just the other day i went to pick up my phone from the glove box of my car to find it guite hot, it was not on charge and the isnide of the car was not hot either.

now tonight i put my phone on charge and within minutes the phone became VERY hot indeed so much so that i took it off charge.

the battery indicator showed it had about 65% charge left, however within 5 hours overnight it had gone flat.

i have put it on charge this morning and again within minutes it has becomeguie warm

now yes i accept that when on charge the phone can get warm but believe me when i say it gets VERY VERY hot indeed in a relatively short period of time

any ideas on what i can do??
