Xperia ION - Below touch buttons

Hi,

I have bought the Xperia Ion and i found that below touch buttons are not so responsive, it requires sometimes to touch it multiple times to use the action.

I thought it was only in my device but I have checked with same device of My friend and there is also the same issue.

It seems this one is common issue for all xperia ION as I have read the same things in many forums.

So, I would like to ask that is there any solution for this..?

Does sony have any plans to upgrade this defects with updates..?

Which build number are you running on?

Settings > About phone.

got tosoftware update in ur phone n just sync it will show you update

but man u r lucky that u didnt get the update this 6.1.e.3.7 update is piece of crap  it just made my phone worse .......... and this prob happening wid most of users n still they say  go to nearest service centre .....

the ion doesn't seem to work like normal androids which you just need to touch. i had the same problem on the missus' phone until i figured out how it works.

you would need to slide your fingers on top of the icons, instead of pressing.

she's been using it since december and is very happy with her phone.

Ion is an LT28i.
