Hi all,
I tried to conenct my Xperia Ray to my Dell XPS M1530 (OS Vista). I can get the devices to see and recognise each other, but Vista is asking for drivers for the bluetooth peripheral device.
I can't find the drivers anywhere! There's no disc that came with the phone....are the drivers on the phone? If so, where?.....
How can I connect the 2 devices properly?
Thanks
Adam
Solved! Go to Solution.
well yes you wont find drivers in any computer with any OS.
i have windows 7 , same thing although i can transfer things/
well there are no drivers whatsoever... but you should be able to send recive files without any problem
just click on the bluetooth icon on your pc and select show devices...
double click your phone ( make sure your phone has bluetooth on and is discoverable ) then you will see the option of sending the file..
I tried testing it with sending an image but the laptop won't allow it until it has the drivers.
When i start windows i get the message about trying to get the drivers from the disk.....i have the phone icon on the computer....but i can't send / recieve due to this "peripheral bluetooth device" driver missing in device manager
Hi, if still no luck, try Bluetooth File Transfer from Android Market.
hmm try bft as gswhispererz mentioned..
I'll try BFT later.
Just tried the same thing on a XPS M1530 with Vista in work. Same thing happened. I can transfer files on this one though. but it's asking for peripheral bluetooth device drivers.
Very strange.....
ok - i'll try again tonight - i'll just have to tell windows to stop asking me
I can transfer on the laptop at home. I've told windows vista to ignore the issue....awesome again slimshady - thanks
great
