Will this phone ever be released in the United States?

Seems like SE has given up on this phone, despite it being the smallest QWERTY Android phone.  This would be my everyday phone id it were carried in the US.

Anyone know definitively?

Tmobile utilize

1700 MHz/2100 MHz for 3G and faux 4G, if it doesn't work for some users it's because their 3G/4G coverage area lacks 2100

you should contact Tmobile and ask them for the frequencies that cover your area

Amazon is your friend.  They sell it for around $270 without a contract.  I bought one a month ago.  I works really well with AT&T.  Make sure you buy the sk17a, the sk17i is the international version, and 3G data is not compatable with US carriers.

I'm assuming if they release a U.S. version, then it will be compatible with the 3G networks here?

I'm on Tmobile.

the SK17i it's compatible with Tmobile USA and SK17a with AT&T

So if I purchase the SK17i, I would get 3G speeds with TMobile?  Or just Edge?

3G with Tmobile and faux 4G

This thread implies that it will not work.  Have you tested it?
