Which memory card to my xperia neo v?

Hello. I want to buy a memory card to my sony ericsson xperia neo v and I don't know which (MicroSD or MicroSDHC). In instruction is written that phone only supports microSD. So Can you help me with this? I do not want to ruin my phone by incorrect memory card 😕

i advise u to go for a 16or32gb(according to u r requirement)class 4(min)orclass6 memory card

You can use micro SDHC card upto 32 Gb of any class

i hope that would clearly help you to buy the one you want

Go with 16GB or 32GB ScanDisk Mobile Ultra SDHC class 10 it will be fine for you, specially for HD video recording.

I just brought 32 GB for $35 having write speed of 9.8 MB/s and read speed of 20+ MB/s.

Hi Nabeel, I am having Neo V phone and its running on ICS, but in Settings >> Storage the color code for SD card shows a wrong value (as a grey color), i.e. the actual free space is less, but it shows more. Any idea why is this? Is it some kinna bug?

Nopes there is no such bug

Can you post the exact figures ?

Means how much mobile shows and how much do you know is actually available ?

And how do you know what amount is actually available ( through PC ? )

Hi Nabeel,

Not in the PC, I am talking about that color coded horizontal bar in Settings >> Storage in the phone (NEO V). The gray colored area that represents the free space in SD card is much thicker than the memory used (it looks like some 600 or more MB is free). But the numeric value says 173 MB. The total capacity of the memory card is 2 GB.

Is the phone using the SD card as some fast memory, i mean like a RAM?
