what is the proper way of charging the phone?

is there a proper way of charging the phone? like turning it off first before charging? on my experience, im just charging it until it go full 100%, but in less than 5 minutes, my battery is already 99%, even if im not doing anything and no runing apps at all. i experience once that my phone is still in 100% in 4hours, but most of the time i am experiencing that my battery goes down to 99% in less than 5 minutes only. do someone here experience the same? or anyone who make their battery last longer? thank you very much in advance.

No, there is nothing special with charging. Today's LiIon batteries have only number of "full cycles" - from 100% charge to 0% discharge. It doesn't matter if you are charging 5 minutes, after that you work with phone 2 days, after that you charge it 1 houe through PC, 2 minutes from wall charger and so on. It doesn't matter. There is nothing like "formating" battery as it was before 10 years. From manufacture goes batteries fully charged, and that is something like "first formating".

Many people think that if they use battery by style 100% -> 0% -> charge to 100% , their battery will live 8 years. But of course it's not true and we can charge it in small amounts. Life of battery is almost the same

im just curious, because after i charge to 100%(full) and unplug it, it is becoming 99% in less than 5 minutes even if im not using my phone(no running apps too), also sometimes after i charge it to 100% then unplug it and restart my phone, it will be 95% already, is it normal? im thinking that it is not, because as i have mention on my first post, i experience once that my phone is still in 100% 4hours after i unplug my charger, but most of the time it is becoming 99% in less than 5minutes. thank you very much for the reply by the way.

Battery status which phone is showing on screen is only informational. It's not accurate value. That's normal. For example - I charge phone to 65 %, reboot, and now it shows 69%. And after few minutes it's 64% Winking_Face

oh, so it just like an estimated value of the battery? hmm maybe thats it hehe thank you very much, i just want to maximize the efficiency of the battery but if it is normal then i cant do anything about that now. thank you very much again. by the way, ive noticed that sometimes when i play games, my battery is heating up a bit and then when i open my phone and remove the battery, ive seen some small liquid droplets on the phone and the battery, ive seen that for 3times now, i dont know if it is coming from the battery, is it normal? or i have a problem with my battery? thank you in advance again.
