walkman problem in sony Xperia p...

i am facing a problem in my sony Xperia p walkman.

If I download a song or send songs in my storage by usb then these songs don't be added on my track list.

How to solve this problem?

when I download music it goes into file commander not to walkman and I can't move it to walkman. I tried the instructions above but it only put one album onto WM. I have lots more still only in the FC. Im sure it started when I got jellybean.

I'm also having problems with the walkman, and have had ever since I got the phone last summer.  Every time I tried to add more music, I'd end up losing some of the music already on the phone.  I thought it was because I was using a cheap SD card and so just transferred the 'bare essentials' to internal storage and learned to live with it.  I've just bought a Sony SD card, and figured all would be okay.  But no, only 2 of the albums I transferred actually saved to the memory card.  And then when I tried to transfer direct to internal storage, all but 4 of the albums disappeared from the Walkman!

According to the file manager, all the albums are there, but they're just not showing up anywhere else.  I really am at the end of my tether with this phone - it was a real treat to myself to get such an expensive phone but I really wish I hadn't bothered now.  I find it a lot more user-unfriendly than any smartphones I've had before and will definitely think twice before buying a Sony product again.

If anyone manages to figure out a way to get the walkman running smoothly in every way, so all of those who are having so many different problems with it can just relax and enjoy our music, then you'd deserve a million kudos's!!

PS I'm really not very tech-savvy, so if you suggest 'rebooting' or sth, could you explain in real layman's terms how to do that (I'm stuck in Saudi Arabia and so don't really have anywhere to go to ask for help!)
