Update .184 Draining Battery

How Many of you have felt that the latest Update is Draining the Battery on the Xperia P??

I always see my phone connected to the charger.

The display on Power save mode takes almost 71-78% of the charge.

Earlier before the Update it was around 30-40% max.

Only if the Data service is turned off then the battery backup is for a Day.

But whats the use of having a Smart Phone with data service turned off.

Most of the times turning data service off also does not help the battery is drained by the Display.

Just hoping this is fixed with the ICS release by the mid of AUG that Sony finally confirmed.

IF there is anyone who has faced this issue & found a resolution Please update me.

can you post the a screenshot of your battery use (settings>about phone>battery use)

Charge the Battery to 100% and when it comes to 10% Post the Screen shot as Ryan515 said..

Please post screenshots's as suggested and also, do you experience any difference if you reinstall this update?

i Think i resolved this issue muself, i tried this below step which actually fixed the issue.

After the Phone was charged to 100% i did reset the phone by pressing the power & volume button.

then checked the battery usage the display is now taking 20% of the charge under the Power Save option.

Everyday after i recharge the battery to 100% i restart the Phone to refresh the mem of the phone.

Now with the Data service on for the whole day & after using the g-talk,FB, Twitter & Maps for the whole day with the GPS turned on the battery is Giving an amazing back up of 1 & half day.

I tested it extensively by using all the apps & Services the music was on & also temple run game.

Also if you have installed the Notification Bar App that was suggested by Sony Please Uninstall that app because after doing that i really found a lot of difference in the Battery backup.

Hope this helps you guys to fix the battery issue on ua Xperia P phone.
