Sync with Sony Bridge creates empty playlists

I've just got my new Xperia P and used Sony Bridge for Mac to sync some iTune Playlists onto my phone. The music was all (well there was 1 erroneous track) copied across fine and all the playlists were created on my phone. Unfortunately when I opened the newly synced playlists on my phone they were all empty. The playlists themselves were all there (they were created in iTunes and not on the phone) but there were no tracks in them.

I had assumed that if I synced a playlist using Bridge then it would be created on my phone. Is this not the case? Should I be using another applications to manage the music between my computer and phone? I've used DoubleTwist before but I had thought that the Xperia would do this natively. It seems especially odd that the playlists were created on the phone, but no tracks listed in them.

I'm runing Mac 10.6.8 and Android 4.1.2 on an Xperia P.

Thanks,

Update: I turned off and restarted my phone and the tracks all appeared in the playlists. Problem solved.
