Super Stamina apk Found

As the title says I found an apk via root explorer which says SuperStamina.apk whilst I was checking on my sons phone whom is running the .211 firmware.

I was intrigued as to what it was as Stamina mode (Which I believe this apk is) is not installed only Extended standby mode.

I copied the apk to a backup folder and proceeded to install and was told this would replace a current system app called Eco mode controller

So my question is for the Support staff, What is Eco mode and why is the apk for it called Super Staminia? Very misleading - Screen shots below

If you are rooted then install a root explorer and open the System folder then App folder and you will be able to see this for yourself.

Did you install the super stamina apk, I have it on my phone too, its totally un-modded running JB. I did not want to install it incase it did not work, or caused a probelm

I did install it and as per the last image it said it would replace an existing app - Eco mode controller but what is that and why is it called Superstamina.apk

Seems like you need the app to make it work.

I have now checked this but I have no explanation to why this is but I don't recommend you removing the eco controller. I suggest that you contact Developer World for more information about this.

Well you said don't but I did disable the Eco Mode Contoller and found that it removed Extended Standby Mode,

But still it doesn't answer the question as to why it's called SuperStamina - Is the feature on the XS better than Stamina mode and as such is called Super, I very much doubt it as I have no controll over which features I wish to initilize
