Stock e-mail client unable to attach Office files

I noticed that after some more recent updates in my Arc, Arc S, Xperia S my stock e-mail client lost an ability to attach anything but pictures, music, and video. I obviously would need Word, Excel, and other files much more. Other e-mail clients work fine.

Does anybody have the same issue? Is there any fix?

You would need to download a File Manager from the Play Store with the capability of sending files by email.

I installed AndroZip and it helped. I only do not understand why on Sony Tablet S v 3.2.1 it works without this app with standard Astro.
