Sony Ericsson Live With Walkman WT19i - Audio

Ok I have done alot of research on this phone. First issue I came across was the restarting but apparently that was fixed with an update in January, but an issue I am unsure of is the audio. There are discussions on here of a static/eletric sound when listening to music and switching through songs etc. I really want this phone but not if the sound has that problem as the Walkman feature is the main reason I want to buy this phone. Please can anybody comment on this telling me if or if not this issue happens to them, thanks in advance.

As with any product, there will; be people that unfortunately experience an issue. However I can assure you that this is by far a very small minority of people that use this phone. However if you some small chance you do experience a problem there are number of people on here that can help you resolve them.

I have been using WT19i for 3 weeks and I experienced that audio problem.

Sorry but I think Sony Ericsson Center did poor when I have this problem. A

nd untill now there's no solition for my audio problem.

So I think you should be careful about buying this phone.

Maybe only a very small people that unfortunately experience an issue, but it won't be fun fanymore if one of very small people that unfortunately experience an issueone are yourself.

Make sure you get a good one.

I already ordered the phone online but I went in store to talk to the guy at Vodafone. He told me that there is definitely no problems with the phones and the sound is amazing, his friend has one. This seems like the best phone for me and if something is wrong with it, I can always get it replaced.

It is good that yours worked well. fortunately if something is wrong, you can get it replaced.

What is sad is in my country to get the phone's hardware cheked or replaced it takes 5-6 weeks.

And they don't replace the device with the new one but they just repair it.

When i asked what is the problem, they don't exactly know. They said that they will try to replace the speaker and hope the problem fixed.

I've had this problem also (sounds like interference, a hiss in the background) since I got the phone in early March. It is annoying if you want to listen to music at a low volume, very annoying, and unmistakable - everyone I've shown it to can hear it.

Also, my head phone jack is faulty - when the plug is moved or is touched against my pocket, handbag etc the sound cuts out or fades. Took it to be repaired and they reinstalled the software and replaced the headphones, didn't mention anything about checking if the jack was faulty - but there is a nice new scratch right on the edge of it so.... Anyhow now the sound issue is worse Slightly_frowning_Face wondering if anyone else has had this issue?

did you get yours from vodafone in NZ?

i have had this sound issue, got mine from the online store. not having any luck getting it replaced or repaired via local shop.

If you are in NZ, which store did you talk to 'the guy' in? Maybe his store will be more helpful than the one I've been contacting.

Cool phone otherwise....
