As fr nw,,, it seems what was to be updated on the SI list for walkman live has been updated for the week i.e. a pic...

No new certified sw is still available- http://www.ptcrb.com/vendor/complete/view_complete_request_guest.cfm?modelid=19869  ... So only sony ppl can tell when the updates will be available & a fact that they will do it with copy paste material with great words like 'patience', 'wait'.... So be it.. Lets wait ppl .. 🙂

As you mentioned the above website listed firmware PTCRB for the repective phones. when i saw the above url link there was an update of firmware to 4.0.2.A.0.69 for SE live with walkman (WT19i),but when i'm trying to update the firmware it saying you have already updated software??

my current version running is 4.0.2.A.0.62

Just out of curiosity: Does this only come via PC Suite or also at least via checking for software updates through the phone itself?

It comes only via PC Suite... Not via the update center in the phone...
