Hi,
I am frm india and currently having E16i with 1 upgarde from its basic 2,1 version. Now i am facing the problem of re-strating . I suspect it is because of deleting the cache of "Roadsync" . Msg is like ..." Road sync failed to open the Internal data base. Pls restart the device and start again . If problem persists uninstall and re- install the same". Now after showing this msg my phone keep on shut down by it self and then again restating with the same msg , as it is in a endless loop. I am not abale to uninstall this ( This is provide with the hand set only) both from the market and from the menu. Any thing in u r mind?

Update/Repair your phone via SUS ( Sony Update Service) ...
download and install it on pc and follow the on-screen instructions http://www-support-downloads.sonymobile.com/Software%20Downloads/Update_Service_Setup-2.11.12.5.exe
or
http://www.sonymobile.com/global-en/tools/update-service/
both the links are same
even if it shows that you already have the latest software, click on install anyway
do tell the results

I got u r points..but i cant take the back up as my phone is not operatable for even a minute or two.
then forget about backup
repair your phone
loll..nice 1....i wish if it happpns with u r phone..any ways ..i think thats all for me , atleast for now..i will update abt the result...ty.
