Purple Spot on Camera Screen Xperia U

My phone is new and I took some photos with flash. No problem. But today after taking a pic with flash a purple spot(smear) has appered on the camera screen. Now all the pictures I take, even without flash have that purple spot on it. What could be the problem ? Sony please help !

Did you remove the plastic coating on the camera?

I took phone to service centre. Identified as camera problem. I will be given replacement !!! Pray to God that Google Map works in my newly replaced phone !!!! It was freezing and crashing insurrendered phone.

Yup, go to service center immediately,,, your phone will be replaced withing first 7 days

but the service center guy saying its a software bug and sony has sent them email regarding this.. they after two weeks they will send the update for this bug ...

Gaurav I dont think purple spot can be cured by soft update. Ask service centre to show you that email.

Also try another service centre. It looks like hardware problem. The sony camera screen is very sensitive made for low light snaps. The purple spot can be caused by flash reflection in low light . So I believe. and it wont go away. So I suggest visit another service centre and ask for replacement.
