Problem with updating phone to 4.1.B.0.431

Today I've got a message that I can update my Xperia arc S to new version of software. I plugged it to computer and launched Sony PC Companion. When I started updating it, I've got an error which said that I can't update it. What is going on? Any solutions?

Yep exactly. I did wait for quite a long, and it seems that I'm the only one who's facing this problem on 4.1.B.0.431. Because I dint find any other complaint of this sort elsewhere. Plus there are quite a few bugs here and there. Regarding the touch, that is, you touch at some point but the touch gets registered somewhere else....

my self is also having the same problem in windows. The exact issue is the PC companian is downloading the installer files and soon after that it gives instructions to remove the USB , shut down the phone and switch back by pressing the back key and then pluging the USB cable to the phone. after that nothing happens. I dont know what to do and i am not sure is this the problem you guys are also facing........
