problem with music library update

I updated my phone  to 4.0.4 and now when I add music and  go to my music libary it says it is empty. Any ideas how to resolve this?

please make sure you are adding compatible music files in the MUSIC folder.

Transfer all important stuff that you wan't to backup from your memory card to PC and format you SD card ( settings > storage > erase SD card )

Send back all the stuff and i hope songs appear in the library
