NFC tags

Hello all,

I have the Sony Xperia S and have just purchased some NFC smart tags..

Now the question is how do you turn them off?

For example:

Red tag: set to home and set to play music.

Blue tag: set to car.

Now if i want to go to my car and use the blue tag how do you stop the red tag from working. at the moment if the red tag is activated and working i then go to the car i swipe the blue tag this then activates the blue tag, but the red tag is still activated why does it not turn off the red tag or do you have to turn of a tag manually..

Hope that is clear.

Thanks David,

I did think thats what you had to do, just thought i was missing something..

So i gather the "AT THE END" setting only works when the disable is pressed...

Does seem a bit strange that it all works with a wave of the phone over the tag to activate, but to change from tag to tag you have to manually deactivate it...

Why cant they be dissabled if you swipe over another tag...

I had the same problem but I worked out that Smart-tags only active the action in smart connect hence the reason you have to end itt yourself. It would have been better to touch the same Smart-tag to deactivate.  There is also no option to activate GPS.

Yes i had read that about GPS, but i did see if you root your phone there is a way to activate it, not sure how true that is but, it also stated you could activate a tag with the phone in sleep to..

I might look at rooting later only had the phone a week Slightly_smiling_Face so maybe next week..
