as I told you (in other thread!), its not a SIM issue becuase it was working for 2 months before the reboot issue! since I brought the phone.. my SIM was cut/trimmed when I had the phone initially..

when the issue started, i had a new sim that was also trimmed.. moving the sim card while the phone is turned on is detected and it restarts if moved out of place!

SAFE MODE Xperia S restart... at around 4th minute of the vid..

Paging SONY SUPPORT!

still uploading the normal boot up with auto restart...

why don't you buy a regular micro sim card and test it

@uliwooly

why are you insisting so much that its a SIM card issue? do you think I would be so naive not to test it with something else?  and by the way, are you using Xperia S in the first place?

Do you know the difference in production between Micro SIM and regular SIM? Do you think that cutting a regular SIM makes soooooooooooooooo much of a difference in performance on Xperia phones??????? this is not solely an issue isolated to me.. before I posted in these forum, this forum was a top on the list on google's list for reboot problem..

this is ridiculous,  if you want us to help you, you have to try our suggestions, you haven't tried a micro SIM card, so the SIM card could still be the issue.

lol.. sorry to say but you are insisting that it is the cause.. give me a precise picture of what a micro sim should look like the way you see it.. i dont see why my micro sim (cut micro sim) is not failing on IPHONE or some other phone that requires micro sim.. so your reasoning is invalid for me..

if you are not going to try a MICRO SIM card there isn't much anyone can do for you, just take it to a sony repair center. Good luck.
