my phone can't find any contacts.

Hi,I had my phone fixed a little while ago (because of microphone problems) . when I got it back and put my sim in it it  the phone worked fine but there were no contacts at all and I know there on the sim because all my contacts appeared fine on the supply phone given.any ideas what went wrong?

have you searched your contacts in your SIM card?

does another handset show your sim contacts??
try and see in another handset once

Yes my contacts appear in my old phone and I factory reset the old phone so it is the sim

i think its the problem of reading contacts with your sim card

did you try to import your sim contacts? contacts>menu key>import cont.

You may also set a filter on the contacts list. Please check by opening contacts, tapping the menu button, selecting filter contacts and alter the settings found there.
