i've Xperia S ,

my AC charger is lost , and here in egypt there's no place to buy Xperia Accessories ,

can i use samsung mobile charger ???

As long as the power supply says output 5v then yes

the reason why micro USB was taken up as a norm was to cut down on costs and to lower the impact on the environment. The reasoning is some handsets are not supplied with a charger on the presumption you will have a charger from your previous handset. In effect you can use any charger you like which has a micro USB plug on the end.

The 2 Xperia S handsets in our house get charged on the following chargers depending on which one gets grabbed fisrt:

Nexus 4 (LG)

Nexus 7 (Asus)

Amazon Kindle

Motorola Defy

A Samsung one which was supplied with a digital camera

And of course the original Sony ones
