micro SD card (which one are you using?)

my friend told me he also encountered the black screen thing when he is still using the stock or give away SD card from SE

(he upgraded he's fone to x10i now)

he removed the prob by changing it to a upper class(10) . . .

(he told me the give away is CLASS 2 only if not mistaken(2gig)

i also noticed the black screen is really happening when the loading of pictures on lower left is still on going then you take a shot it black screens'

my dealer told me not to use transced cuz it is not fit or some issue maybe on SE x8 . . . i dunno about it

what card are you using now? class 10 would be faster rate right?

just to clear you , class 2 means the speed the card can read or write data

class 2 - 2mbps

class 10 - 10mbps

so you can get class 2 , 8 gb\16gb\32gb card and class 10 8gb\16gb\32gb card...

Class 10 is of course the fastest, but you have to decide on how much you want to invest on a SD Card.
