messaging is not responding..

My messaging is not responding. Yesterday i deleted misc fils. Is that the issue.? But whenever i open messaging, it hangs for some seconds and shows messaging is not responding.. Pls help..

Go to settings-apps-all-messages,force stop and clear data.Restart.

i bought my xperia m 8 days ago and last night i updated it to 4.3, afterwards i do love it but when i started checking my messaging and replying to my messages  MESSAGING HAS STOPPED popped up when im texting a long text. or it wont be sent so i have to resend it again

@kulot0401 - In this case it would be worth reinstalling the latest firmware as it appears something went wrong when it was loaded onto your device:

1. Download the PC Companion software from http://www.sonymobile.com/gb/tools/pc-companion/
and install it on your PC.
2. Install and open PC Companion then select Support Zone.
3. Phone Software Update.
4. Start.
5. Repair Phone
6. Continue
7. Accept data removal
8. Next
9. Wait for prepare
10. Select Phone
11. Follow the connection steps
