manual update for xperia s

i manually updated my xperia s , is there a difference with the actual update? hope to get a response. the manual updat edoes have the same features.. with the videos... any comments?

Exactly how did you update? What program did you use?

What software did you have before the update and what are you running on now? You can check this at Settings > About phone > Build number.

hi i am manuel update my xperia s to ics and  ics stabilty very good but my si number isnt on the list is this a problem for warranty?

If you did not use PC Companion, Update Service or Bridge for Mac to update, it could become a problem if you need a future service at a repair center.

my build number right now is 6.1.A.0.452. it seems to be working fine.. i doubt there are any difference with the actual update, but is there any difference? im really wondering

the differences are more or less apps, aside from that it should be the same
