Live with Walkman Profile Photo Contact Sync with Facebook

Good day!

I'm a proud new owner of a Live with Walkman phone and I love everything about it!

I just have one problem with the Facebook Contact Sync specificaly the Profile pic appearing in the Contact list:

The first time I Sync, all of my current Facebook friends were aded to my contact list showing their Profile pic as the Contact photo. (which is so cool!)

The porblem is when I add new friends on Facebook they automatically get added to my contacts because BUT the Profile photo did not get syncronized. So everytime a new friend gets added to my Facebook, they get added to my contact list but the Profile pic just show the blank head.

I tried resyncing Facebook and Facebook inside Experia but still the Contact photo did not get updated.

Resetting my phone did not help and I'm using WiFi to connect to the internet.

I apologize for my confusing question and I appreciate any help you can give me.

try over wifi it will take a while to sync everything, it will help if you go to

settings -> accounts & sync -> facebook uncheck everything but contacts (on both fb icons)

I have already done that and I have WiFi at home so I'm always on WiFi. It's been two days since I added new friends on my Facebook but the Contact profile photo is still not updated. Does it normally take that long to Sync?

it should not...

check this..

go to settings > applications > manage applications > all

find facebook and clear data and cache..

open facebook , log in with your id..then sync all contacts..

and see if you have the pics..

it shouldn't go to the phonebook -> tap on the name of a contact that has been synced w/ fb, do you see their fb info, photos & interests?

That's a good idea. I'll be trying that when I get home so I can connect to WiFi. I'll let you guys know if it'll work.

Yes, their fb info, interests and tagged photos shows up but not the profile pic.:smileyconfused:

Oh man! That worked like a charm. I can't wait to go home so I tried to do it using 3G/GPRS and it worked! All of my contacts now has it's profile photos. Thanks guys!

that's odd, try to restart your phone and see if that helps
