issues after upgrading XPERIA neo v to 4.0

4 days back I upgraded the 2.2.3.4 gingerbread os to 4.0 ics...now Im having multiple issues with the new os.

1. Heating up of the phone above normal temp in idle mode.

2. Battery draining out in 2to3 hours in normal usage.

3. The camera frequently crashes. Many other applications frequently crash.

4. The phone is very slow in terms of normal usage..i.e- dialling screen take time to call a number.

     The application are slow to open and the gallery frequently hangs up.

5. The net browser is very slow in 3g connection

6. Before uprgading to the new 4.0 os I had a problem with the led flash of the camera.which still persist.

    At night whenever I use the flash to click a pic. The pics get a purple color fringe.

Hi, suggest you reflash firmware again. There are cases where users commented that software repair after ICS update helped.

Not sure if it will resolve all your issues, but hopefully majority of them.

thnx...how to flash the firmware? Do i need to send the phone to the servce cntr?

Nope, you can do it yourself ....

It is similar to your earlier update, it will prompt you that phone is up to date, just proceed with repair. Be aware that this will of course erase phone data completely.

sir I reinstlld the os and erased the 8gb sd.. now the phone is wrkng fine. however the issue wth the cam flash remains the same. I keep gettng a purple fringe wheneva i use the cam flash to click any pic in the dark...

Regarding pictures with purple fringe, how about playing with the settings, does it help?

purple fringe with flash during night is the special feature in neo v...dont worry mate..even if ur total hardware will be changed..
