Install ICS on Xperia mini with Over Heating problem always happens

I had Xperia mini ( ST15i ) Has overheating problem as soon as I turn it on and it happens always and every time .

My question is      " Can I install ICS while my phone over heating ? And " How it is done ? Do I update while phone is turned off although capacitive buttons still interfering  ? "

you can update to ICS (if your SI number is on the list), instead of PCC use SUS

And  yes my SI is on the list . So I update using SUS with the phone turned off  and  choose second option " Reset + Update " .

I hope ICS solve the problem .

Update !!      I am now so happy ,  I finally get red of the problem . it was too weird , but my brother figure it out , It was not overheating as it happens when the phone is cool and as soon as the phone boots up , It was software problem made function of capacitive buttons being inversed , so when you don't touch the button it act like you keep touching it . and when you touch it and keep it touched it act like it is untouched . So after booting I kept cancel button touched until I make it to factory reset option and I used it . After reboot problem solved .

Factory reset + update was a good choice Slightly_smiling_Face

I did choose Factory Reset + Update as you told using SUS but problem stayed , until I did Factory Reset on the phone .
