I need help with an icon that I don't know what it is

Hello, I recently purchased an Xperia Arc S, however there is an icon on the upper left of the screen, it looks like an ear with a forward slash going through it and next to it a small "T". I've already looked at the owners manual, and on page 118-119 where all the icons of the screen are display, this one isn't. It seems to me like if it were for the headsets, but I don't know.

My mejor concern is that I can't hear anything when someone calls me unless I use the handsfree.

Please help.

are you referring to the ear with a T, I believe that's hearing aid

settings > call settings > hearing aid
