Can you connect your phone to the same wifi? I don't think you can do what you want actually. You want to physically connect the phone and the laptop and use the connection from the laptop?

There's tethering and reverse tethering. tethering is when you have internet connection on you phone and use that connection to connect with your laptop. Reverse tethering is the other way round. I believe that is what you want? I never did this because I connect both my laptop and my phone to the same wifi network, but I found something that might help you.
