how to set gingerbread keyboard as default

Hi all

I installed gingerbread keyboard in my xperia Ray and I selected it as default keyboard in

Settings menu.but still internationalkeyboard appears while swnding msgs

And also I can't able to get words from my user dictionary

Plz give soln.....

i think you mean ICS keyboard right..??

cause you have gingerbread on your RAY

can you give me the link of the application..?? i'll download it and will see how to make it default..

for the time being

go to settings > language and keyboard and see if you are getting the option of your application which you installed..

Under my keyboard & language settings menu, I had japanese keyboard,chinese keyboard,

International keyboard and gingerbread keyboard which i installed from market a checkbox available to

select gingerbread keyboard. i checked it.

but when i typing the message the settings menu of keypad opens international keyboard settings.

how to set gingerbread keyboard for typing message and other purposes where ever we type.

The bottom line soln i needed is how to get the words from my user dictionary

open the messaging app -> any conversation -> tap on the input box -> long press on the input box -> input method -> select the keyboard

Thanks dude.. i got it.... is there any option to enable phonepad in gingerbread keyboard.

or else suggest me how to get my words thru phonepad, which i added it on user dictionary.bcoz right now i didn't

get any of those words.

open a conversation -> tap on the input box -> tap on the wrench icon -> text input settings -> learn words -> word suggestion -> suggest words, don't correct automatically

you won't see the words until you use them few times and you start typing
