How do I save text messages on my Xperia Neo?

Hi all, does anyone know how to save text messages onto the SIM card or transfer them from the 'phone onto a PC?

There's an app for that. In fact there are several.

SMS Backup + is free on the Google Play Store and well rated.

It doesn't do exactly what you are asking for though, for that you need SMS Backup & Restore. That too is on the Play Store.

You could also try Handcent, this allows you to download the SMS to a memory card, this is also available within the Play Store.
