How do I get the 25gb memory back on lt26i?

I have an Xperia S and I have done a software repair because my phone has gone really slow and unresponsive at times. When I go onto my internal memory it says that it has 9gb free out of 25gb and I don't have 16gb of content on my phone. Is there a way to make the phone faster by deleting files or something?

it might be  that you had videogames and that some files are still there, you could do this

settings > storage > erase the internal memory

Thanks. I am trying to backup files using PC companion and it is saying that my phone memory is encrypted. Any ideas? Thanks again.

that's quite odd, which files are you trying to access?

The only way to disable encryption is to factory reset the phone and start again, you cant undo it in the menus.
