hii.. battery problem

hey people... im currently using sony ericsson xperia arc running 2.3.4
after this update, there's a drastic drop in the performance of the battery of the phone
i never had any battery problemms until now.. and when the phone used to run on 2.3.3, the battery was functioning just fine..
and now since ive updated around a week back.. ive been observing a fall
and to my observation, i feel it's nt the problem with the battery but with the display.. when it ran on 2.3.3, the display would take around 35% of everyday's charge.. but now it takes EIGHTY !!!!!
please reply.. if u guys face the same problem, join me in appealing to SE.. and for those who dnt face this problem, please notify me as to where i can improve on the performance of the display.. i have kept the brightness to 15 % and the screen timeout to 30 seconds.. and within 5 hours the battery dies and when i see the usage.. 80 % would be the display !!

at 12 % battery left, 15 % brightness, 30 secs screen timeout, bravia engine turned off and data traffic switchd on for 3/4th of the total time..
display - 55 % - 2h 38m
cell standby - 12 % - 10h 12m
phone idle - 6 % - 7h 34m
voice calls - 5 % - 5m
android system - 4 %
gallery - 4 %
juice defender - 3 %
keypad - 3 %
android OS - 2 %
messaging - 2 %

just to update and for information:

14% battery left, 20h 8m (Bravia ON, brightness 1/4, airplane mode unless WiFi is ON)

Display 66%, 4h 58m

Music 9%, 1h 46m

Idle 8%, 15h 10m

Wifi 5%, 5h 40m

+ 4more with 2-3% each at less than 10m each.

any comments on battery life?

you listened to music for 1:30 hours , wifi was on for 5:30 hours

so its good no worries

i also replied to your previous battery satus above..did you checked that..?

10 hours, 12 minutes 😕 😕 absurd right? or is it the problem that im always on data traffic?

if you are getting these results then thers some problem..

ok can you please switch off your network data for just one battery cycle ..?? i mean when you charge it to a fuull 100% then see what you get around 15% with network data off..??

yea dude ill do dat tomorrow.. but the thing is.. my college forbids me from switching on my cell during the class hours.. since the battery use status refreshes when i reboot, ill hv to record what each thing has taken until i switch off first right ?? k.. ill do it 😕

no ive updated i said ill do it with regard to the posting of battery
its running cool now after terminating data traffic ill anyway keep u informed after it drops to 15 %
