HELP needed!!!!!!! Android ICS update unbranded phone

Hello all,

I bought my Sony Xperia S today and it says i need to be able to update it from gingerbread tot ice cream sandwich.

I have no clue on how to do this, if i connect my phone to my pc using the usb cable, and starting thesony pc companion software it says there are no updates for my phone. How can i update it to ICS??????????????

Help would be much appreciated.

ICS is not released for your phone yet

It could be a minor update, if yes then try to use this

SUS ( Sony Update Service)  ... download and install it on pc and follow the on-screen instructions http://www-support-downloads.sonymobile.com/Software%20Downloads/Update_Service_Setup-2.11.12.5.exe
