Failed update. Won't boot

I just got a replacement for my xperia play, brand new (Not rooted) So it keeps telling me an update is available, so I tried to update it.

Phone was fully charged before I attemp to update!!!

Sony Companion failed the update, so I tried again. Failed multiple times (10+)

Now not only does my phone not work, I can't update it or even use the update service.

Everytime I tried to start up, it shows the sony ericsson screen, then a triangle with an "!" inside with a phone lying beside it. After that it just shuts off.

I can't turn the phone on while it is plugged into the computer.

connect it to the wall charger for 30min then turn it off and use SUS to repair it

What does the triangle with an "!" inside with a phone lying beside it mean anyway?

No luck, charging the phone for 30 min made no difference when I used SUS to repair it.

The phone looks like it is not even accepting any data.

The data was all downloaded already, so everytime it gets to the installing software section, it just skips to the "The installation failed" screen.

the phone was off? are you certain that you haven't unlocked the bootloader? disable your firewall and antivirus and try again

Phone was off.

The phone is an unlocked phone.

I tried with firewall and antivirus off again and still does not work.
