Hi,
will I loose my DRM files if I root my Ray? or when unlocking the bootloader?
Solved! Go to Solution.
you can unroot w/ SUS or PCC. now regarding the warranty its a tricky question
each country has it's own rules, but if you read above, this is my take on this and I'm not saying this is what it is or legal advise at all, but my take on the links above is that you can root w/o voiding your warranty, NOW once you root and you do something that harm the phone then your warranty it's voided.

if you root you won't lose them
if you unlock your bootloader you will and they'll be gone forever

something that you might want to read
From sony mobile developers
http://unlockbootloader.sonymobile.com/instructions
Warning! If you perform this step, you will unlock the boot loader. This may void your warranty and/or any warranty from your operator. If you still want to unlock the boot loader of your phone, enter fastboot.exe -i 0x0fce oem unlock 0xKEY, where KEY is the unlock boot loader key you got in the beginning of this instruction. The boot loader should now be successfully unlocked.

Warranty Document

Nor does this warranty cover any
failure of the Product due to accident, software or hardware
modification or adjustment, acts of God or damage resulting
from liquid
in other words it "could" void your warranty

yeah, you don't really have to unlock your bootloader, rooting it's enough for the most part
