While awaiting the repari of my phone I'm trying to figure out different modes for when the phone i connected to the docking stations (DK25). Various images show the Xperia V in the following configuration. How do I achieve this? All I've managed up until now is the regular homescreen tilted on it's side and the SenseMe slideshow.

Rod,

There is a Sony application called "Smart Connect" that allows you to contol dock settings. If the app is not installed already, it is avail. at Google Play for free...

Don't let the app intimidate you. You will find many options available. For me, I kept it simple, turning off most options.

Doesn't answer my question though.

I use Smart Connect for a lot of things. I keep a tag at work which adjusts appropriate settings. I use it with my wireless speaker and a bunch of other things. What I would like to know though is how I achive the kind of home screen in the pic above. I couldn't find such a setting in Smart Connect.

It's marketed that way so the function should be availiable, don't you think?

This would explain some. I would question why they would market it with the same UI represented when the DK25 only charges and has no other connector. Not important of course but it seems a bit dishonest.

This does however raise the question if the UI shifts to this when connected wirelessly to a Sony TV.
