Do i need to root so I can flash?

I can't wait anymore, so I'm ready to Flash my phone for ICS
I'm just asking do i need any root/unlocking bootloader for need of flashing? I already did backup.

Nopes you don't need to root or unlock

Yeah but mine flashtool isn't like on screenshots, and i can't backup cuz there is no repair option in SUS anymore, just informs me that i already have latest software

So only wipe data, and i should uncheck wipe cache and wipe apps log, ok
