Disadvantages of Rooting Neov After ICS update

Firstly like to thank Sony for their ICS update to neo v .Its fantastic Slightly_smiling_Face ..loving the ICS in my neov Slightly_smiling_Face I knw there are many forums regarding rooting after ICS update .i wanted to knw wat disadvantages will i be getting if i root my neo v now apart from voidng my warranty . When Gingerbread was there one of the disadvantages was not receving the ICS update officailly .Is there any thing similar to this if i root nw ?? Also i wanted to knw abt the differences between a locked bootloader and unlocked bootloader Slightly_smiling_Face

Nopes buddy you are not correct regarding this Slightly_smiling_Face

Rooting doesn't prevent any kind of updates, unlocking the bootloader does ..... rooting is just unlocking the lock that is implemented over system files

Rooting is the process to gain access to core files ( system files ) and nothing else
