But when my phone was at jelly bean it was clocked at 1.4ghz and the thing ur saying is for overclock it can be overclocked to1.6ghz .It all happened after kitkat update and they want it to be 1.2ghz then they should change the specifications rather publiciting with 1.4ghz.Sony should change this on their website so that people can know the truth.

I forwarded this internally some time ago and the information i got was that the cpu has been clocked at the optimal level to reduce heat, don't risk damaging of other components and to increase the lifespan of the CPU.

Dear Sony,,,,,,,,,,,,,Don't try to make fool of us,, when a phone is designed it is designed and optimised for best performance and then they list the best cpu frequency not after listing and changin..I mean if T2 Ultra works on 1.19 Ghz then they should advertise accordingly,,,whey they are mentioning 1.4ghz.

Yeah., the reduced CPU clock speed and without changelog and explanation is quite a let down to consumer, lucky some consumer don't really care about it. but still it'll effect customer experinces on the brand.
